Circus artists and troupes from the Netherlands try out their acts for the audience. With acrobatics, trapeze, Chinese pole, handstands, or contortion, the creators take us into their world full of circus, stories, and skillful tricks.

Contemporary circus in the Netherlands is flourishing like never before. With innovative techniques and artistic influences, the boundaries of circus art are being pushed. These performances are increasingly finding their way to the theater, and interest is growing. During Back to Base, circus makers get the chance to test their act or work in progress in front of an audience. What do you think?
