Theater and nightlife in one show

XTC: The Electronic Musical is a captivating theatrical production that brings the atmosphere of nightlife to the theater. Writer and director Vicu Bazan Szelest incorporated her personal experiences in the club scene and her journey to sobriety into the story. The production was previously seen at the Boring Festival in Haarlem and in clubs such as Der Hintergarten and Doka.

A show that reaches you from all sides

The actors do not perform on a stage, but move around you. A live camera follows them through the space. You choose how you watch: directly as in the theater or via the screen as in the cinema. That choice makes the experience different for everyone.

Original music across electronic genres

The music in XTC: The Electronic Musical was written specifically for this production and pays homage to various electronic music styles. Lyrics, acting, and music reinforce each other, making the performance a unique form of music theater.

Location: Het Sieraad during ADE

The performance takes place at Het Sieraad, a striking building in Amsterdam West. The location matches the energy of the Amsterdam Dance Event, of which this performance is a part. Are you interested? Use the link on this page to reserve tickets.
