Eric Prydz: from Stockholm to the dance floor

Eric Prydz is a Swedish DJ and producer who releases his music under his own name and under aliases such as Pryda and Cirez D. His style lies between progressive house and techno, with a sound that appeals to both the underground connoisseur and the mainstream festival crowd. He broke through internationally with his track Call On Me in 2004 and has been at the top of the international DJ scene ever since.

Under the alias Pryda, Prydz creates melodic, layered progressive house. As Cirez D, he dives into the darker side of techno. His sets are known for a tight structure and a distinctive sound that he carefully protects through his own labels, Pryda Recordings and Mouseville. Anyone attending an Eric Prydz set experiences that difference immediately on the dance floor.

The Gashouder: industrial monument in Amsterdam

The event takes place in the Gashouder, a national monument on the Westergas site in Amsterdam. The building dates back to 1902 and originally served as a gas storage facility for the city. Following a renovation in 2000, it grew into one of Amsterdam's most highly regarded event venues. The circular space of 2,500 m², with a ceiling of 14.5 meters, offers an industrial atmosphere that enhances the sound and experience of dance music.
