30 years of electronic music at Melkweg
Dave Clarke celebrates the 30th anniversary of Amsterdam Dance Event with his club night. For 21 editions, this has been a fixture of ADE, and this year, too, the Melkweg is dedicated to the evolution of electronic music. The evening connects the past, present, and future of the dance floor.
A program full of diverse artists
The program brings together a broad mix of names. Luke Slater and Rene Wise play a b2b set that bridges generations of techno. Dasha Rush takes you into experimental club music at the intersection of sound and art. DJ Hell adds his electroclash legacy, and Egyptian Lover connects the roots of electro to the present. Furthermore, the program includes Daniel Avery, DJ Stingray 313, and Parrish Smith, among others.
Film and culture off the dance floor
In addition to the music, there is a special film program that highlights the cultural impact of electronic music. This program shows how dance music has influenced art, movements, and liberation.
