Romance on the Fort Island
Upon arrival, first settle down wherever you like – in the grass, on the jetty, by the fort – for starters and a good glass of wine or beer. You will take your seat at the table later for the main course and dessert. Pampus is freedom – even during dinner.
Sail across the IJmeer at sunset to Fort Island Pampus, nominated for the title of Greenest Museum of the Netherlands 2026. Upon arrival, an aperitif with delicious island snacks awaits. Find a charming spot – on a terrace or in the grass – and enjoy the peace, nature, and the view over the water.
A seasonal dinner is served at the Pampus Pavilion, featuring vegetables from the garden and other local ingredients, complemented by a choice of meat or fish. The evening concludes with a digestif and organic coffee or herbal tea, partly sourced from the island garden.
Enjoy the atmosphere
Experience a special summer evening with friends, family, or colleagues at one of the most sustainable places in the Netherlands. Taste the flavors of the island, discover how heritage and sustainability come together here, and sail back to the mainland under a sparkling starry sky.
Special packages are available for groups. Would you like to stay longer? Then choose an overnight stay at the campsite or in the atmospheric Mistklokhuis.
