After an exhilarating first edition, Lola Tuthola Lollipop again opens the doors at Theatre de RIchel, to her cozy home and welcomes you to Lola’s Huis: a multi-day queer festival filled with performances, theatre and panels during Amsterdam Pride. Each day, the main program consists of a vibrant mix of colorful performances or a theatre show, followed by a panel that invites further conversation with makers, thinkers, and activists. This is the safe haven for everyone who wants to be themselves.

Every day, the main program consists of a vibrant mix of colorful performances or a theatrical performance, followed by an in-depth panel discussion with makers, thinkers, and activists.

Every day, Lola curates a program centered around a theme relevant to the queer community today. Themes such as the safety of queer people, the mental health of the community, and examples of positive masculinity are discussed candidly.

In a time of conservative political developments, Lola offers a safe haven with her house: a place for queer recognition, empowerment, and hope. This festival arose from a need for depth and conversations that cannot be held on the dance floor. In doing so, Lola's House goes beyond a Pride party, activist debate, or theatrical performance; it aims to be a temporary home base for the queer community during Pride Month.

WorldPride Amsterdam

For the first time ever, WorldPride comes to Amsterdam. From 25 July to 8 August 2026, the city will shine in every colour of the rainbow to celebrate freedom, diversity, and love in all its forms, as the Netherlands marks 25 years since becoming the first country to legalise gay marriage.
