Freedom meal and concert lecture - Roelof Hartplein
5 May is Liberation Day and this is celebrated in Amsterdam Oudzuid with a Freedom Meal in OBA Roelof Hartplein. After lunch, you will be treated to a special concert lecture by Judith Koelemeijer and Marcel Worms.

Freedom lunch in OBA Roelof Hartplein
Judith Koelemeijer wrote the biography of Etty Hillesum. The Jewish Etty wrote her diaries during the Second World War in a house around the corner from Roelof Hartplein. Koelemeijer has put her life story on paper and will give a lecture about it.
The lecture will alternate with music written by persecuted Jewish composers, among others.
This music is provided by top pianist and local resident Marcel Worms.

12:30-13:45 – Lunch
One group has lunch at De Coenen, diagonally opposite the OBA (Johan M.Coenenstraat 4)
The other group in the OBA reading café.
During lunch, themes related to the lecture after lunch will be discussed.
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM – Concert lecture
Both groups meet in the OBA reading café.
A concert lecture will occur here, including a break and a signing session.
