Finale Koninklijk Concertgebouw Concours 2024

Final

The finalists are true sky stormers that we will hear a lot from later. Former finalists often perform throughout the Netherlands after the competition. Some former winners include recorder player Lucie Horsch, pianist Nikola Meeuwsen and double bassist and singer Jala Heywood. The young finalists all receive a great masterclass from a well-known musician. The winner may also perform during the lunch concert in the Kleine Zaal of the Concertgebouw and at the Grachtenfestival. He or she also wins a sum of one thousand euros for his or her musical development and the trophy.

Incentive prize

Before the final, the Encouragement Prize will be awarded to one of the participants who is experiencing a special musical development. This winner may have just started making music, have a special story or show enormous creativity in musicality. With this we want to encourage children to have fun and not stop developing! The winner of this incentive prize will be announced at the end of May.
