Juicy Kebab – a space for gathering
Juicy Kebab is a collaboration between Arash Fakhim and Juicy Kebab. Not a white exhibition space, but a kebab shop as a meeting place, where diverse backgrounds intersect without barriers or codes.
In a gentrified city, Juicy Kebab functions as a gateway: a space where proximity is self-evident and diaspora stories are shared without preconditions. During the Warmoes Biennial, gatherings will take place here around conversation, food, and shared time.
In his practice, Fakhim explores who has access to space, visibility, and voice. Juicy Kebab has been an informal meeting place in the Red Light District's nightlife for years.
