De Kaskantine is a temporary urban farm, run by volunteers. The pop-up farm has already moved several times, and the current location is among the tower blocks of Nieuw-West. In this urban oasis, you can buy plants and compost, and also help in the vegetable garden, hear a lecture on the food cycle, or enjoy a meal. There’s a vegan brunch on Sundays, and meals by Guerilla Kitchen.
