Chateau Amsterdam

Tucked away on an industrial lot in Amsterdam's Noord, Chateau Amsterdam is not your typical winery experience. Sourcing grapes from across Europe, Chateau crafts innovative wines locally, offering Amsterdammers and tourists an glimpse into the world of winemaking.
A city winery with global roots
Established by father-son duo Harrewijn, as well as a group of wine lovers, Chateau Amsterdam seamlessly blends traditional and modern viniculture. With over 20 wines in their collection, all made from carefully chosen grapes from family-owned vineyards throughout Europe, Chateau transports grapes rather than finished wine. In doing this, they ensure that the entire production process—from crushing to bottling—happens on location at their winery.
Chateau Amsterdam's philosophy is all about teamwork. Marked by a dedication to winemaking as a communal and inclusive experience, a visit to Chateau involves a front row seat to the process. Inside their warehouse, you can enjoy wines matched with a seasonal food, take part in tastings, or explore the facilities to witness this exciting coming together of local and international winemaking.
