Oscar Peterson is known for his trio with piano, double bass, and drums. Less well-known are his performances with piano, guitar, and double bass. Jazz pianist Thijs Cuppen, guitarist Martien Oster, and double bassist Carla Beekman perform works from Peterson's repertoire in an intimate setting.

The musicians

Thijs Cuppen is a highly sought-after pianist in the Dutch jazz scene and has collaborated with artists such as Deborah J. Carter and Mathilde Santing. Martien Oster studied in Los Angeles and played with names like Chet Baker, Toots Thielemans, and Diana Krall. Carla Beekman studied double bass at the Sweelinck Conservatory and has performed at home and abroad, including at the renowned Jazzcafé Alto.
