Stereo MC's

Stereo MC’s had their worldwide breakthrough in the early 90s with the mega-hit ‘Connected’. The British duo, consisting of rapper Rob B and DJ/producer Nick Hallam, grew into one of the most well-known acts in which hip-hop, funk, soul, dance, and electronic music come together. Songs like ‘Step It Up’, ‘Ground Level’, and ‘Elevate My Mind’ also became true nineties anthems. With their energetic live shows, remixes for major artists, and years of desire for innovation, Stereo MC’s prove that their sound is still beloved. 30 years of Connected With "Connected" (1992), which grew into a worldwide phenomenon, Stereo MC's reached second place in the British album charts and earned the band two Brit Awards. The album produced a series of timeless, dancefloor-filling singles, including: “Connected”, “Step It Up”, “Ground Level”, and “Creation”. After no less than 12 years, Stereo MC's returns to Melkweg!
