Smells Like Nirvana is an unplugged tribute band from Tilburg. With their show in the Melkweg, they pay tribute to the legendary band Nirvana. What can you expect? Exactly what the name promises: a direct jump back to 1993. The band takes you on a real trip down memory lane, to the iconic period in which Nirvana grew into a band with an immortal status. The unique combination of dark rawness and acoustic depth that Nirvana managed to create at the time gave the concerts an experience that is difficult to experience again. But that does not stop Smells Like Nirvana from trying. On the contrary: they bring that atmosphere back to life and take the audience back in time.
