Silje Nergaard

Silje Nergaard

From Norway, jazz singer Silje Nergaard conquered the entire world. Over the past twenty years, she has played with artists such as Al Jarreau, Pat Metheny, Toots Thielemans, and John Scofield. She is one of those special singers who captivates you immediately. Subtle, warm, and full of emotion. Her music is rooted in the jazz tradition she inherited, a tradition from which she creates her own timeless repertoire. As can be heard on her new album Tomorrow We'll Figure Out The Rest , from which she will also perform pieces tonight in the Kleine Zaal.

Tomorrow We'll Figure Out The Rest

On her new album Tomorrow We'll Figure Out The Rest, Silje returns to her musical roots. Classic jazz standards are reborn as original compositions. Melodies about love, life, and longing. Universal themes that every listener will recognize. Live in the Kleine Zaal, Silje brings that same warmth, timbres, and vulnerability. Together with pianist Espen Berg, she combines the new songs with beloved Silje classics such as Be Still My Heart and Dance Me Love . In the Kleine Zaal, Silje Nergaard pauses time for a moment, with music that touches the heart directly. Pure, personal, and unforgettable.
