Debussy Fauré and Ravel

The program moves within the sound world of the French fin de siècle, where color, breath, and suggestion define the musical language. In Debussy's Petite Suite and Ravel's Ma mère l'Oye , a play of light and shadow emerges, while Fauré's Dolly Suite and Pavane reveal a more intimate, lyrical line. A special moment is Debussy's rarely performed Symphony in B minor for piano four hands—an early and little-heard score that sheds a surprising light on his musical development. Moreover, with Fenêtre invisible by Albena Petrović, this program gains a contemporary resonance, in which sound and imagination are questioned and expanded in a contemporary manner.

Romain Nosbaum and Florin Mantale

Since 2025, Romain Nosbaum and Florin Mantale have been deepening their collaboration within the framework of Albena Petrović's project Escapes . In this project, they explore the piano duo in various forms: four-hand playing, two pianos, and extensive playing techniques incorporating percussive elements. Their recording was received with great international interest and received glowing reviews. Drawing on this experience, they are developing a shared artistic direction in which they both reinterpret well-known repertoire and make room for lesser-heard and contemporary works.
