Mannarino

Mannarino is one of the most important contemporary Italian artists, heir to the tradition of singer-songwriters like Paolo Conte and Fabrizio De André. With an original style and poetic lyrics, he has established himself as a voice for new generations. His first albums contain classics such as "Me so' mbriacato", "Statte Zitta" and "Vivere la vita". As a modern ballad singer and urban singer-songwriter, Mannarino makes music with a quirky, eclectic and blended character. His lyrics, with strong surrealistic undertones, bring to life dreamy and tragicomic stories about clowns, drunkards and travelers in love. Mannarino draws inspiration from the sounds and rhythms of Italian folk music and enriches his world with elements of Balkan and Roma music, references to Fellini and circus-like performances.
