A love for '70s Glam Rock
Lucio Corsi, born in Tuscany, combines the depth of Italian rock with folk influences as a singer-songwriter. His style and sound reveal his predilection for '70s glam rock, and his lyrics blend fantasy and reality with a touch of surrealism. Lucio Corsi carefully built his career as an artist and musician for 10 years before his big breakthrough in 2025. He released three studio albums on which he further developed his own artistic style, and during an extensive tour in 2023, he opened for The Who in Florence. Corsi's friend and artistic right-hand man, director/producer and co-writer Tommaso Ottomano, who was previously involved in videos for Måneskin, is co-responsible for the songs, the sound, and especially the visuals. He stands beside Lucio not only behind the scenes but also on stage.
Volevo Essere un Duro
In Italy, Corsi achieved mainstream recognition at the 2025 Sanremo Music Festival. His song "Volevo Essere Un Duro" finished second, but captured the hearts of the audience. His Instagram account grew from 50,000 followers to over 1 million in just two weeks, and his Italian tour sold out in two days. The single was the most played record in Italy for 10 weeks, was certified platinum, and earned Corsi the prestigious Tenco Award for Best Album and Best Song. After his first extensive European tour, which takes him to London, Paris, Brussels, and Berlin (and more), Lucio is returning to Italy for a stadium tour.
