In stillem Vertrauen PRJCT Amsterdam, Maarten Engeltjes & Anna Dennis
It was a precarious world in which Bach lived. Wars, disease, infant mortality and social instability were the order of the day. Bach's music forms a strong counterbalance and radiates confidence, inner peace and concentration. Anna Dennis is among the most subtle sopranos of her generation. In 2023, she was honoured with a Royal Philharmonic Society Award. Maarten Engeltjes, founder of PRJCT Amsterdam, enjoys international fame as a countertenor. Together, they can be seen and heard at Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ.
