Music that crosses boundaries
Flavia Escartin (cello), Antonio Moreno (trumpet), and Siebren Smink (guitar) form a trio that blends jazz, folk, and classical music into a unique sound. The three musicians come from different musical worlds and bring them together during this concert. No pigeonholes, but a shared musical language that you won't easily hear anywhere else.
Three musicians, Three stories
Flavia Escartin grew up among the vineyards of the Catalan countryside and also plays in the duo Escarteen Sisters , known for folk fusion. Siebren Smink moves smoothly between styles and has released the album 366 days – The greatest hits, among others. Antonio Moreno, born in Russia and raised in Spain, has worked with chamber choirs and Gnawa masters. His band NAUSYQA was nominated for an Edison Award.
