Vocal music from 17th-century Italy and Spain
Irene Sorozábal and Michela Amici present a program of vocal music from 17th-century Italy and Spain. In songs by Barbara Strozzi and her contemporaries, the text takes center stage. The Baroque harp provides a direct and restrained accompaniment. Additionally, you will hear rhythmic and more theatrical works that showcase a different palette of colors.
