Chamber music full of contrasts

Violist Dagmar Korbar and cellist Alexander Warenberg guide you through a varied program for viola and cello. The concert opens with Beethoven's playful Duet mit zwei obligaten Augengläsern and two short pieces by Shostakovich. Next, the virtuosity of the 18th century resonates in a sonata, while Larsen's American Haiku evokes a contemporary, cinematic atmosphere. Piazzolla's Oblivion concludes the program with melancholy and tango influences.

Two talented string players

Dagmar Korbar was principal violist with one of the major Dutch orchestras and won, among others, the National Viola Competition and the Papandopulo Competition. Alexander Warenberg won prizes at international competitions, including the ARD Competition in Munich, and performed with leading musicians. Together, they demonstrate what high-level chamber music can achieve.
