Electric guitar, bandoneon and effects
The programme revolves mainly around Florian's own compositions. His electric guitar, enriched with an extensive palette of effects, moves between clear melodic lines, atmospheric sound layers and improvisation, while the bandoneon contrasts this with its characteristic combination of breath, rhythm and raw acoustic sound. Together, the two musicians explore the area between composition and spontaneity, with influences from jazz, contemporary music and cinematic soundscapes, without binding themselves to one genre.
About Florian
Florian studied jazz guitar in Den Haag and has performed internationally with various ensembles. In addition, he works as a composer for film, radio and television. Over the years, he has developed a very personal approach to the electric guitar and electronic effects. Santiago, born in Buenos Aires and based in the Netherlands, built his career around the bandoneon, with projects in tango, contemporary music, chamber music and orchestral music.
