The chansons are performed in their original versions by a large orchestra conducted by Hans Voerman, including wind instruments and a string ensemble. The soloists are all specialists in this unique genre. The direction of the performance is handled by Marc Forno, a former dancer at the iconic Parisian theatre Folies Bergère and an expert in this field.
