A contemporary snapshot

The Impressionists were the (art) rebels of their time. In a completely new style – recognizable by the bright colors and loose brushstrokes – they recorded their impressions of the world around them.

In this workshop you will paint a contemporary subject, a cityscape or a still life. What is it like to 'capture' a fleeting moment on your canvas? Do you dare to leave the painting 'unfinished'?

During the workshops you will take a look at a number of works in the permanent collection, after which you will get to work in the studio yourself.
