Mercatorplein Branch Amsterdam Public Library (OBA Mercatorplein)
In addition to its collection of contemporary book titles, Mercatorplein branch has a collection of audio books, CD-ROMs, DVDs and games for a variety of consoles. It offers over 150 newspapers and periodicals in a variety of languages. The branch includes a spacious coffee shop with a view of the square which regularly showcases exhibitions by local artists. It is the ideal place to spend a day reading or studying.

The branch is equipped with an NL-plein (adult education point) that includes two workstation computers on which learners can practice basic reading, writing and maths skills. Drop-in tutorials in Dutch, basic maths and internet skills take place every Monday from 14:00 to 17:00. The library is the site for many neighbourhood activities.
