Aalsmeer Historical Gardens

Stroll around the Aalsmeer Historical Gardens and find yourself on a colourful journey back through time – all the way back to 1650!
Horticultural history
Explore the greenhouses of yesteryear, dotted with tools from a bygone era. The garden is home to a large selection of long-forgotten strains of plants and varieties of fruit. Every last Saturday of the month from April to September, the garden’s impressive auction house plays host to a special flower and plant auction.
Accessibility
The reception area (corridor), auction room and exhibition greenhouse are wheelchair accessible. The path on the Garden is partly accessible for wheelchairs. The back part of the garden path is covered with wood chips.
At the tour: visitors with wheelchairs are requested to report in advance so that a free extra seat can be reserved. A MIVA toilet is available for disabled visitors. Dogs are welcome on the Historic Garden provided they are kept on a leash. On the tour boat, you should take your dog on your lap. For large dogs, a children's boat pass will be charged.
