From April 18, the World Press Photo exhibition will return to De Nieuwe Kerk Amsterdam for the world premiere of the international press photo competition.

The World Press Photo exhibition is one of the world's leading platforms for photojournalism and visual storytelling . The exhibition was founded in 1955 as a platform for photojournalists to share their work.
Every year, the World Press Photo Foundation organizes a competition in which photojournalists from all over the world submit their work. The entries are judged by an independent jury. The winning photos are then bundled into a traveling exhibition, which is shown worldwide.
Please note: On Saturday 26 April (celebrating King's Day), 3 May, 4 May (National Remembrance Day) and May 16th, the exhibition is closed.
