Best press photos in the world in Amsterdam
The World Press Photo exhibition is one of the world's leading platforms for photojournalism and visual storytelling . The exhibition was founded in 1955 as a platform for photojournalists to share their work.
Every year, the World Press Photo Foundation organizes a competition in which photojournalists from all over the world submit their work. The entries are judged by an independent jury. The winning photos are then bundled into a traveling exhibition, which is shown worldwide.
Please note: On 27 April (King's Day), 3 May, 4 May (National Remembrance Day) and 28 May, the exhibition is closed. From 15 June to 26 June, construction work will be taking place at De Nieuwe Kerk. During this period, you may experience some noise disturbance during your visit.
