A festive concert for the whole family

In Vijf!, 4 musicians from Oorkaan Ensemble take you on a musical journey without words. They are celebrating something special together, and you can tell by everything. The concert is full of (un)recognizable sounds, movement, and humor. From Turkish music to Mozart: the styles alternate and keep you curious. Perfect for children aged 5 and up, but also worth it for adults.

Adventurous characters on stage

Vijf! is an anniversary remake of the earlier performance Vier!. Colorful figures appear on stage, each with their own personality and musical power. When they join forces, something exceptional happens. The performance is a co-direction by Caecilia Thunnissen and Yorick Stam, and a co-production of Oorkaan with Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ.

Participate afterwards

After the performance, there are activities from 13:00 to 17:00 in the Entreehal and Atriumzaal of Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, especially for children aged 4 and up. You can become a composer in fifteen minutes, discover the artist route, or make something in the craft corner.
