We are introduced to endearing characters such as Piruetas the dog, neighbor Casia, the grandfather, the girl Aurora, Don Pancho, Lalo the newspaper boy, and the funny clowns Jeremías and Serafín, who also come to play in the square before their circus performance. “The Square” was first performed in 2008. It was the company’s second production. In three scenes, sign language, everyday sounds, and world music merge into a vivid picture of a unique neighborhood square. It is a meeting place where fantastic and incredible stories unfold. Showing at Teatro Munganga.
