In I am Andrew, Girls in Woods dissects the online manosphere, a world dominated by influencer Andrew Tate. A world full of pick-up artists, looks-maxing, manipulation skills, and misogyny.

Femke Arnouts and Tim van Dongen reconstruct the story of a young man who, fueled by thousands of online videos, commits an act of violence against a young woman who rejects him.

In a surreal installation, in which online and physical reality merge, they embody the young man, his victim, his male and female role models – and Andrew Tate himself.

With humor and radical empathy, Girls in Woods dives deep into the manosphere. Driven by the desire to be safe and free as women, we make a bold attempt to understand, to break through, and to find a new answer to the question:
