And now it gets really exciting. During the very last preliminary round, the 9 remaining artists will present a self-written theatre programme to the jury and audience in 25 minutes. Which 6 candidates will soon be able to call themselves semi-finalists of the Amsterdams Kleinkunst Feestival 2027?
The AKF is a platform for development, guidance and artistic daring. New makers show how they relate to the genre of kleinkunst and how they further stretch it.
After this last preliminary round, the semi-finalist tour will follow. From January to March, the talents will progress through the AKF Keep an Eye Masterclass programme and try-outs throughout the country. Everything to prepare themselves for the grand finals at the beginning of April. These kleinkunst artists build on a rich history while simultaneously giving direction to the future.
