An evening for women in electronic music
Women of House puts female DJs at the center of a genre traditionally dominated by men. The event has now been running for 11 years and has grown into a permanent fixture of Amsterdam Dance Event. The line-up consists entirely of female artists performing diverse styles within house and electronic music, from deep grooves to energetic sets.
Diversity and inclusion on the dance floor
Women of House is more than a party. The event actively addresses diversity and inclusion in the music world. Different cultures and backgrounds come together on the dance floor of PRIK Amsterdam, a well-known queer café in the heart of the city. This makes the atmosphere open, accessible, and inviting for everyone.
Anniversary edition during ADE
The 2026 edition coincides with the 30th anniversary of Amsterdam Dance Event. Women of House joins the celebration and presents a program that looks back on what women have achieved in electronic music and looks forward to what is yet to come.
