PORTAL brings the Polish and British electronic music worlds together on one stage. El Padre represents the Polish scene, Nathassia the British. Together, they demonstrate what melodic techno sounds like when two different music cultures meet. The evening revolves around movement, emotion, and sound, and is intended for anyone who wants not only to hear melodic techno, but also to feel it.
The Listening Ritual: judging music in the dark
A special part of PORTAL is the Listening Ritual. During this, the DJs play six unreleased tracks anonymously and in the dark. The audience and a judge from the music industry evaluate the tracks live. This gives you, as a visitor, an active role in the evening and allows you to help determine which production wins. It is a fair way to discover new talent.
