An evening centered around the 90s chill-out area
A Soft Guide to Chill is a residency by BBTCOR at W139, where archival research, scenography, and live art come together. The evening revolves around the chill-out space as a concept: a place from 90s rav culture where people unwinded, connected, and experienced music differently. This idea forms the common thread throughout the entire program.
DJ sets and live performances
LNR, the DJ alter ego of El Bickers, opens the evening with sets that connect underground music histories with the contemporary club landscape. Archetype performs his album Nothing New Under The Sun : a reflection on isolation and connection in a hyper-connected world. Composer and sound artist Gizem Öz delivers a live performance at the intersection of club music, ritual, and abstraction.
Sarah Saleh concludes
Sarah Saleh, co-founder of BBTCOR, closes the evening with a set that brings together ambient, dub, downtempo, and psychedelic influences. Her work builds on her research into the 90s chill-out space as a place for collective listening and reflection.
