Visit more than 65 artists during Pentecost

During the Pentecost weekend, May 18, 19 and 20, 2024, artists in the Jordaan will open their doors to everyone between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM! Be surprised by various exhibitions of new talents and established names. During the Open Ateliers, almost all art techniques are represented: from paintings to design, from photography to sculpting and much more.

This year the starting point of the art route is at our sponsor Duijn Horecamakelaars at Prinsengracht 122. Here is also the information stand where you can pick up the booklet with the walking route.

For example, visit the Ada Breedveld Gallery in the Langestraat or the Karthuizerhofje where Anke Louwerse and Gerda Roodenburg-Slagter exhibit.

Take a look at the sculpture studio of Sophie Verburg at Bloemgracht 149 or view the beautiful paintings of Michael Ryan in Palmdwarsstraat.

The making of “Be The Fool”

Experience how artists from “The Fool” made waves worldwide in the 60s and 70s with The Beatles and other greats. Learn about the recent film of the same name, the family, the art. In De.Studio, Jade will give a presentation about the making of this film with previously unseen material, and tell the story about “The Fool”.

In short, put it on your agenda and take a nice walk with the participants in the Jordaan during Pentecost!
