Wellness, Wigs and Weapons presents an alienating world of 3 fictional boutiques where wellness, identity and violence converge. In an environment where advertising, design and sculpture merge, the boundaries between human, object and consumer culture blur. The exhibition explores how desire, commerce and representation shape our experience of the world.

About the presentation

The presentation is structured around three zones: wellness, wigs and weapons. Together, they depict the tensions and connections between individual self-care, collective unrest and violence, and the constructed nature of identity and appearance.

In this environment, the boundaries between human, object, infrastructure and consumer culture blur. Advertising aesthetics and decorative patterns penetrate sculptures, furniture and architecture. Materials and surfaces react to one another and suggest unexpected connections between natural, industrial and commercial worlds. Wigs take on organic forms, wallpaper seems to become a disinfectant and weapons acquire an almost intimate, wearable quality.

Wellness, Wigs and Weapons explores how desires, transactions and forms of consumption shape our environment. During the installation of the exhibition, the project remains accessible to the public and functions as a constantly changing space for meeting, observation and exchange.
