Susanna Brenner is a visual artist with a background in jewelry making, the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, and the Piet Zwart Institute. Her work moves between installation, video, sound, and textiles, exploring ritual forms of silence, mindfulness, and imagination.

It's an experience

UTOPIA isn't just for looking at, but for experiencing and entering: a place between care and grief, between light and silence. A space where patients, staff, neighbors, and visitors can rest, reconnect, and imagine together. Within The Spirit of Amsterdam Festival, the chapel at OLVG Oost thus becomes a place of art and tranquility.

The opening of Utopia will take place on Friday, November 28th, with a ritual (4:00 PM), featuring a special performance by soprano Siri Brenner . There will also be programs such as Voice Mediation by Janne Schra on Saturday (1:00 PM). UTOPIA will also be on display on Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00.
