This year, Ed van der Elsken would have turned 100. Van der Elsken (Amsterdam, March 10, 1925 – Edam, December 28, 1990) is considered one of the most important postwar photographers and filmmakers in the Netherlands. To mark this anniversary, the Purmerends Museum is organizing 2 exhibitions featuring Van der Elsken's work, starting October 3.
