Kraantje Lek is located at the foot of the steep dune De Blinkert, which in itself is worth a look. Kraantje Lek was built in 1542 as an inn. Even at that time, people from all over the world came to visit to view the area, to paint here or to enjoy nature. Frans Hals even painted here! The atmosphere of that time can still be felt, for example in the wooden interior.
