Saint Levant

Marwan Abdelhamid, better known as Saint Levant, was born in Jerusalem during the Second Intifada to a French-Algerian mother and a Serbian-Palestinian father. His youth in Gaza was an experience that would later form the inspiration for his debut EP, ‘From Gaza, With Love’. Saint Levant draws inspiration from his background and combines traditional Arabic music with R&B and hip-hop. In doing so, he showcases the richness of his identity and the Palestinian diaspora. He sings in Arabic, English, and French, thereby reaching an international audience. His EP 'Love Letters', released on Valentine's Day 2025, was an important moment in his career. Each track shows a different feeling or aspect of his life, such as hope, pride, reflection, and honesty.
