Rachel Zhang - Marimba Class Concert: Next Gen

New compositions

Students from Rachel Zhang's marimba class at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam present a program of original compositions and arrangements, performed as part of the TROMP Next Gen competition.

Rachel Zhang: “It is incredibly inspiring to hear these new compositions. Marimba and vibraphone players who compose and arrange their own music, just like singer-songwriters, are at the beginning of a new generation of percussionists.”
