Tonight, Lucas will perform with Splendor musician/bassist River Adomeit and pianist Michiel Braam, who is composing for the film "IJdel Licht" (Imperious Light), about Lucebert's war years. After screening some test footage of the film, actors David Roos (Lucebert) and Ezra Koppejan (Juc) will perform an egg scene. The tone of the evening will be set by the famous egg Humpty Dumpty, and how it permeates Daoism and Lucebert's poetry.

The program consists of three sets with two short breaks.

Set 1 : Humpty Dumpty, jazz classics with paintings by Lucebert and compositions by Lucas Bakker

Set 2 : Vain Light with a film screening and a theatrical scene. How Michiel Braam's music connects with Lucebert's poetry.

Set 3 : Improvisation on compositions by Misha Mengelberg, alternating with 'Daoist' poems by Lucebert and Solvanus Liebherr

Solvanus Liebherr is the screenwriter of the hybrid feature "Idle Light" (Vain Light) in development. Solvanus is a collaboration between filmmaker and visual artist Pedro Bakker and author and poet Liesje Schreuders.
