Thinking of Holland

The man with a residence permit knows all the procedures and counters, but he doesn't yet know the country and its inhabitants. He's a writer and determined to remain one, on a journey of discovery to live in a new country. And work. And friendships. And love. But also to discover what this country is and who is actually allowed to write about it. Sometimes he does this in compelling scenes, other times reading from his own work.
