An exciting, improvised meeting between luminaries
Together they've developed a shared, impeccably understood musical language, effortlessly shifting between formal structures, spontaneous improvisations, and their own unique interpretations of songs. This evening at Splendor marks their Dutch debut! Kimura and Hemingway will initially perform as a duo; later, they'll be joined by accomplished bassist Wilbert de Joode and Splendor's own Michael Moore.
Moore and Hemingway have had a musical relationship for almost forty years, so they know each other inside and out. Expect a rich palette of textures, from exuberant to intimate, and perhaps a song here and there.
