Lebanon Hanover

In the ice-cold universe of Lebanon Hanover, loneliness, darkness, humour and romance come together. The duo, consisting of Larissa Iceglass and William Maybelline, met over the internet and bonded over their love for music from the eighties. The band brings a mix of post-punk, darkwave and gothic rock, and they combine their dark and minimal sound with their characteristic high synths, deep basslines and melancholic lyrics. Inspired by art nouveau, nature and the urbanism of Berlin. As of 2026, the duo has already released seven excellent records, with highlights such as "Gallowdance", "Alien" and "Saddest Smile". After having released more than seven albums, toured the world and formed a duo for more than ten years, Iceglass and Maybelline are not done yet and are bringing their time-travelling darkwave to the Melkweg.
