Lauren Sanderson

The release of Lauren Sanderson's self-titled album 'LAUREN' marks a sharp change in direction towards a louder, more outspoken world. Inspired by the hyperactive futurism of Missy Elliott and the heavy nu-metal sound of Limp Bizkit, Sanderson processes these influences into something that is entirely her own: confident queer-pop, which is intended just as much for the underground as for the general public. Here, rebellion is not a style or image, but a conscious attitude that is carried out completely and without restraint.
