Musician
Noriko Amano van Baaren was trained at the conservatories of Tokyo and The Hague and studied musicology at Keio University. She enjoys great prestige as an interpreter of French Baroque music and has recorded countless CDs of Baroque music. Noriko is the driving force behind the 'Pearls in Baroque' series, which has been successfully running in the Small Hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam since 2019. She plays on her own instrument, a particularly beautiful copy built by Anthony Sidey of the famous Hemsch harpsichord, which was built in Paris in 1751.
