Kaizer's Orchestra
Kaizers Orchestra makes cathartic rock music with influences from Eastern European folk music and the lamentations of Tin Pin Alley. The band was founded on the first day of the new millennium and consists of Janove Ottesen and Geir Zahl on vocals/guitar/oil drum, Helge Risa on pump organ, Oyvind Storesund on bass, Terje Wintersto Rothing on guitar and Rune Solheim on drums. The six are immensely popular in their own country and have won, among other things, a Norwegian Grammy.
