The sound world of Julie Campiche and Raphael Vanoli
Two soloists present an evening full of unique sounds and stories. Swiss Julie Campiche plays the harp in an innovative way, both acoustically and electronically. Raphael Vanoli explores the guitar with voice and breath, resulting in a fascinating sound world.
Let yourself be carried away by Unspoken
Julie Campiche's album Unspoken is inspired by Virginia Woolf's statement about anonymous female poets. Each song tells the story of an influential woman who remained anonymous. Campiche brings these powerful voices to life with harp, vocals, and electronics. Visual artist Sophie Le Meillour visualizes the stories with scenography and video mapping.
Experience the guitar art of Raphael Vanoli
Raphael Vanoli is a guitarist who distinguishes himself with unorthodox techniques. He blows and sings on the strings, amplifying and distorting soft resonances into a unique sound. His solo album Bibrax already demonstrated this, and now he presents Ventschau , his second solo album. The title refers to a North German village where he composed.
A poetic musical journey
The time Raphael Vanoli spent in the forests of Ventschau has shaped his music. This is reflected in the poetic and personal sounds of his new album. As a guitarist, he is known from the Casio rock duo Knalpot and has collaborated with artists such as Binkbeats, Jameszoo, and Wolfert Brederode. Don't miss this special double concert.
